Host's note

Parade registration is at 11:00am, and we will do some community canvassing before the parade officially starts at 1:00pm. Participants will meet at the corner of 6th st. and Center st., in front of the Eastern Allamakee High School in Lansing, Iowa. We will have water, signs, stickers and candy to throw; make sure that you eat a good meal to keep your energy and spirits at maximum volume!

The mission of our 'NE Iowa Bernie 2020 StrikeForce' is to show Solidarity with our attendance at hyper-localized events and small towns (no matter how small) that the two major parties and other candidates seem to let fall by the wayside. We agree with the good Senator Sanders: it is better to show up than to give up! Our goal is to make loud and clear to our fellow rural Iowans that the campaign, OUR campaign, will not leave them behind. We are demonstrating that this fight is powered by people, and that's why we need YOU to show up; don't give up!
