Saturday, April 27 fellow Breniecrats came together at the Penrose library to kickoff Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign for president. Bernie laid out his plans to build a historical grassroots campaign to win the presidency. It's all about the CANVASS! If you like talking to people, enjoy walking the neighborhood, then Bernie has got an app for you. Bernie's campaign introduced an app tool Saturday and is encouraging people to canvass in their communities. We have been asked by Bernie to collect names, phone numbers, and emails. the app provides for easy data entry and goes to the campaign. The campaign uses this information to remind people to register to vote and if needed to register as a Democrat in time for their primary or caucus. This data will also aid in the continued growth of Bernie's million-plus grassroots movement.
